Jobs under attack at Kenyan port

Workers in the Port of Mombasa in Kenya are facing an attack on their jobs. The union says that a representative of the new government there is threatening to sack port workers even though there is no dispute between management and the union at the moment. There have been issues in the past-the pic above was taken when hundreds of dockers staged industrial action in Mombasa to oppose plans to privatise the port, and they were successful. In the port of mombasa, seafeaers a sufering alot due to luck of unemployment, this is because seafearers jobs ae being done by the kenya port employers
