“The future of the ITF is you” – that’s the message from the ITF’s general secretary, Steve Cotton, to the participants at the opening of the Maritime Roundtable 2016 (#MRT2016) in Montreal, Canada. “Young activists, women activists, coming together and saying maritime workers won’t be ignored - we’ll be at the forefront, fighting for the kind of industries and futures that we want to see,” he said.
